In Community and Network reports, a student will be counted as being in the Target Group “in some classes” if they are a member of the Target Group in some classes but not all classes.
For example, one teacher may include all English Learners in her target group because she’s especially interested in understanding and improving the experiences of English Learners. Another teacher may include all boys of color in his target group because he wants to focus on improving their experiences. Let’s imagine that there is a girl in both of those classes who is an English Learner. She would be in the Target Group in one class but not the other. In Community and Network Reports, she would be counted as being in the target group “in some classes.”
